Update Your Profile on Our New System!

We have a new website and member relationship system! Below is the message that was sent to our members and supporters to help them get set up on the new system. Sign in, get set up and kick the tires.

To use our new system, you will need to update your member profile and set a new password. This is easy — just follow the detailed instructions below.

WCA members: If you’ve already done this through the WCA site, you’re done! No need to resubmit since your WCA and Freelance Austin logins are now one-in-the-same.

Step 1:
Please go to http://freelance-austin.org/join-freelance-austin/ and select “RENEW.” Select the “Request Password” option and enter the email you use for Freelance Austin. An email with your new password is on its way! If you do not receive the email within a few minutes please check your spam folder. It will send you a temporary password immediately. Don’t worry, you can change it (in the “About” section, once you’re logged in).

Step 2:
Use the temporary password you received to log in. After you log in, you will have the option to update the “About,” “Profile,” “Projects”, and “Jobs” sections in your profile.

The profile section collects information for the Freelance Austin member directory (if you’re a WCA member, this profile is now shared between the two directories). The directory is a compilation of all Freelance Austin member profiles that provides easy, searchable access for your colleagues and potential clients.

When you’re done updating each tab, click “Save and Continue.”

Step 3:
Once you’ve completed filling out the information fields for each section, you may choose to “Edit Account” and make any additional changes or inputs, or go to the “Home Page.”

Now you should be ready to take a look around the new site! Be sure to sign up for our September 14 Meeting featuring a stellar panel of peer mentors.

If you have any problems, questions or concerns, CONTACT OUR TEAM. We’re here to help!
