The ABCs of Podcasting?
According to an April 2017 Salesforce report, 40 percent of Americans have listened to a podcast. In the last month alone, more than 24 percent have tuned in! As barriers to entry continue to recede, industry experts estimate 300,000+ podcasts are in production.
Are you ready to take the leap? Is podcasting a good fit for you and your brand? How do you create timely and consistent content? Most importantly, what can you do to stand out in this increasingly crowded medium?
At March’s Freelance Austin meeting, Carrie Barrett — fitness coach, author, and podcast producer (“Purple Patch”) and host (“I Could Never Do That”) — covers podcasting for business and credibility growth. She’ll discuss real challenges and inhibitors, including time, cost, logistics, editing, promotion and over saturation.
So join Freelance Austin on March 14, 2018, to discover your “why,” get details about how to start, and investigate basic tips for podcasting success. Is podcasting right for you?.
